By | 14 September, 2021 | 0 comments

The end of the summer takes away the typical warmth of the season to make space for the most anticipated time for wine lovers. In addition, the month of October brings with it the culmination of the grape harvest, an activity as traditional as it is a cult. The link between the fruit of the vineyard at its optimum ripening point with the final delight at the table.

As hospitality, restoration and gastronomy lovers, we believe that to properly enjoy an authentic gastronomic experience it’s not enough to just have heard or know about it by word of mouth. You have to live it in your mind but also in your body to experience all its richness of flavors, nuances and aromas that envelope your senses. For this reason, there are such interesting initiatives as the ‘Ruta del Vi DO Alella’.

From Hotel Augusta Vallès along with our Trànsit Restaurant we joined the exciting world of wine by offering you different lunch menus that will vary weekly and in which DO Alella wine will take center stage. A total gastronomic offer with local products and market cuisine as the main axis. From breakfast to dinner, and with a constant effort to adapt and open ourselves to all audiences.

‘Ruta Del Vi DO Alella’

We are fortunate to have the DO Alella close to us. This denomination is characterized by dry or sweet white wines made mainly with white raisins. We are attached to it both from Hotel Augusta Vallès and our regional gastronomy restaurant, Trànsit.

From September 26th to October 31th, wine tourism lovers have an appointment with ‘Vi+’ initiative proposed by RUTA DEL VI DO ALELLA Product Club. The event is promoted by the Consortium for the Promotion of Wine Tourism in the DO Alella Territory together with 23 town councils from Maresme, Vallès Oriental and Barcelonès regions. During these dates, our Trànsit restaurant will offer a special menu with wines from DO Alella that will change weekly. The menu will be for a minimum of 2 people and will have a price of €29 per person.

The innovative thematic proposal Ruta del Vi is based on the promotion and empowerment of the wine-growing identity of the territory, which is very marked by the cultural and gastronomic aspects that DO Alella encompasses. Its objective is to help discover the extension and uniqueness of the Land of the Pansa Blanca through the wide touristic offer along the territory that comprises it.

From Hotel Augusta we are proud to be part of the DO Alella wine culture and to be able to bring these regional products closer to our customers. It is only in this way that we assure to expand, sublimate and perpetuate the knowledge of such characteristic products from our gastronomy from one generation to the next. Would you like to delve into the flavor of the vineyard that characterizes our lands?
